Digital forensic analysis is essential part of Computer Crimes Investigation. A computer or IT equipment like PDAs, mobile phones, electronic media, laptops etc. can be a source of evidence, it is an excellent for record keeping and it can be of great value to criminal investigators.

Group-IB is using a structured approach for digital forensic analysis which is based on best international and local practices. Main phases of this approach are:

• Extraction - Data extraction from suspected IT systems and equipment by means of special tools, techniques and in according with laws and standards.

• Reporting – Prepare a report based on findings obtained.
