Training on Cyber Forensics at Ministry of Economic Development

Experts from Group-IB carried out training session at Ministry of economic development

Friday, December 4 – within framework of skills development course for employees of information security service of the Ministry of economic development of the RF, the Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics (MTUCI) specialists organized a training on the cyber security cases response. The seminar was carried out by Group-IB company representative. Issues discussed at comprised both theory and practice basis for cases management. Trainees were informed on approaches to various cases investigation, on the bases of evidences collection and analysis, and on legal aspects of investigation. Additionally the examples of forensics patterns collection and further analysis were demonstrated. Moreover, at training, the software assisting to performance of selected operations on browser logs, operating system registry and content of RW memory analysis was demonstrated.
